HISTORY
AEG Finland Oy was originally founded in 1993 as a subsidiary company and technical sales organisation of the German AEG group.
AEG had been a part of Daimler-Benz, a large-scale group, since 1987. The product range included electro-technical equipment and systems such as low-, medium- and high-voltage equipment, motors and generators.
The Daimler Benz group’s other fields of operation were the automobile, aviation and electronics industries.
AEG’s appliances and power tools divisions had already been sold from the group previously.
In 1995 Daimler-Benz decided to give up its ownership of AEG by selling its business operations to several international operators, and AEG’s Finnish subsidiary was transferred by management-buy-out to the ownership of its current management in 1996.
Today AEG Finland is still a privately-owned and rapidly developing sales company specialising in technical sales.
